Head 2 Head made it to the 2009 Toronto Cannabis Cup. The trip was a good eye opener for me to really push hard to make Regina what it could be. You see, we are farmers. Some of us farm wheat,
some of us even peas, but Ganja is truly our crop of choice. The moment we returned home it was a quick analysis to remind me that I am not crazy. The Cannabis that was sampled at the T.O cup was good, but realistically, for as many people that stand to profit off this wonderful plant in one place, one would think that the cannabis grown to compete on a medical level would knock your socks off. This was not the case at all. Maybe all of the primo has been shipped solely to Saskatchewan as our standards of quality seem to be maybe higher than the next province and still folks are willing to pay top dollar for quality on the black market -$3000 a pound to be precise. Now that’s crazy.
Moving on from business to talking fun, the trip was well needed 
for the two Head 2 Head goers (G.G.E & me). The stress of the two new shops and getting them into full swing has been a huge load of work as they are so close to being complete. Unwinding with good people always helps a busy mind. And even though the lack of primo, there was no lack of good people, and before I get deemed a jerk, to the people that entered, “Hats off to ya for donating!” Being a legal grower for 7 years, I know how hard it can be to pass it off as out of the norm. Good cannabis is sought after and needed in the world of suffering we live in today. So good on all of you, you are making a difference, and it is much appreciated.
Head 2 Head was not the only prairie crew there. Skunk Funk from Saskatoon
made it as well and it was nice to see a familiar face. I was overly happy to see an old friend Marco, from Treating your self magazine doing well, and would like to say thanks for handing out the bullrider from the lovely Michelle Rainey, whom I have waited to meet for so long, but fear I seemed bummed from jetlag and booze. I hope she remembers me the next time we meet. I also got to see the famous Marc Emery and his lovely wife Jodie by surprise. It’s always good to see them having some fun even with all the crap those two have to deal with. I also heard wind of a good-bye tour. If there is a tour, I hope he comes to the Queen City for he has a friend for life here. I don’t want Mark to leave, as he will be greatly missed. However, even if he does depart, we must continue for positive change and never forget him or his message. 
There were so many new faces that I would like to see dive a little deeper with what it takes to be a soldier- Join a hand full of people on the front line of taking activism to the next level in the war on drugs. Sometimes I get a little frustrated when I talk about a war that has been going on for way too long, affecting all borders, 
places, and lives. It takes a special person to put them self in a position of public scrutiny while portraying them self as a freedom fighter A.K.A hippy. As I learned in Jamaica, it takes the love of a hippy and the dedication of a soldier to win this battle. And I’m a solder in this war on drugs trying my best to change the way people look at all plants, especially the one plant that holds a large hand in what it will take
to reverse our depleting oceans, our disappearing rain forests, and all of there residences. So, won’t you join this solution, ask questions and demand answers?
Thanks for your continued support over the years and please be sure to put your seatbelt on, because the ride I speak of is a long, rough road, but you aren’t alone. I can guarantee you’ll find this guy and his crew on the front line, trying to make a difference every step of the way. Peace.

I completley love you, such strength. One thing you will always have on your side in winning this war is… your voice, while coperate agendas and criminals remain hidden and protected they have no face or voice to carry their soldiers through. peace
