gcforwebGallery dedicated to the marijuana movement.

We are very excited to announce the grand opening of the Green Canvas Art Gallery located at 1621 11th avenue in Regina, Saskatchewan. The gallery opened wednesday, August 26th at 4:20p.m. With over 130 people to celebrate, the gallery was overflowing with smiling faces and excitement.  With a warm welcoming from “Prince of Pot”, Marc Emery on his farewell tour, and his lovely wife Jodie, it became apparent that the marijuana movement was far from over. It seems this could be the beginning of a brand new era in Regina.

Here we are, in the middle of the prairies and there is no doubt we’ve all got some farmers blood in our systems. There is so much potential to grow and provide in this province and that is exactly why The Green Canvas has opened up where it has. This gallery is dedicated to the education of and accesibility to safe and legal cannabis. As every Canadian is eligible to possess a license for marijuana, The Green Canvas is here to guide citizens through the process of acquiring it.

A free seminar on how to acquire your license is held every friday at 4:20p.m in the gallery and all are welcome. The seminar includes information on how to approach your doctor, what to bring to the appointment, pro’s and con’s of the black market, the importance of organic growing techniques (especially for medicine) and the potential risks of acquiring your license. We also explain the term legal representative, describing it in a way that is easy to understand.  This is followed by a question and discussion period, concluding the seminar.

To sign up, you can either come down to the gallery or email us @ TheGreenCanvas@gmail.com.

The world is changing and we are the generation in charge. It is up to us to educate ourselves and eachother on healthy sustainable ways of living and medicating, to ensure a positive future for everyone. With such an abundance of miseducation regarding cannabis, the world’s most promising plant, it is very important to take any opportunity to learn and pass on knowlegde to those in our community. And so, The Green Canvas welcomes everyone who would like to make positive changes in the world, to join us for our free seminar, fridays at 4:20p.m.

Special thanks to everyone who continues to support the progress of the marijuana movement.  Together, we make a difference.

    quoting CanYouDigIt:

“he referred me to another GP. A GP who deals with methadone and drug dependency and pain management among other things and who understands that a life of Opioids is no life compared to Cannabis. ”

I know the Dr. you speak of and I was one his patient for almost threes years until I almost died under his care.

I saw him one day telling him I was very ill and in tremendous pain in my bones but he as usual ignored me.

By 4PM the next I was in Pasqua Hospial ER in isolation with failing kidneys from osteomyleitis and MRSA infecttions. After a 2 weeks and 25lbs of my body mass used by my immune to stave off death I saw DR PAUL HARRIS in the hallways of the hospital where he saw me pushing a chemotherapy IV unit, acknowledged me and qucikly ducked into an elevator.

If you value your life and wish to get real help with your ailments STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM DR. PAUL HARRIS.

He is using the medical marijuana community to line his pocket by taking referalls.

If you want to hit a litteral “dead end” and pay for someones Bentley the do right ahead.

Do not risk your health and safety to DR PAUL HARRIS as he is only out for your MONEY and is NOT A COMPASSIONATE Dr. or human being for that matter as was posted. He loves patients whao are on opiates or methadone because they are LIFETIME CUSTOMERS.

Dr’s like DR PAUL HARRIS are a disgrace to humanity and should be treated as such.

Where do I go from here? I am a migraine sufferer. I dont walk with a cane and Im not going to die anytime soon i dont think. It seems that most doctors view cannabis as a treatment only for malignant cancer or HIV. Its very frustrating and also very stressful being forced to break laws just to get the medicine that helps me cope with my ailment.

I attended your meeting last friday at The Green Canvas. I am currently in Brandon manitoba as i came here in hopes my childhood pediatrician who knows my medical history would sympathize with the fact that the only pharmacutical drug that works for my migraines makes me feel worse than the migraines themselves. I am ready to give up! My wife works as a teacher here in Regina and if i was to get charged with growing my own medicine she would probably lose her job. I feel like the medical marijuana access program in this country is a fuckin joke. Does one have to be on deaths door to be granted a quality of life???? Is my government forcing me to break laws and threaten the livlihood of my family ??? I have been persueing this liscence for 2 years and keep getting doors closed in my face. i am so sick of being labelled a drug addict or a rec user.

Well, as per our meeting a few weeks ago I went the specialist route and even though he personally won’t sign (surprise) and neither will my GP (double surprise), he referred me to another GP. A GP who deals with methadone and drug dependency and pain management among other things and who understands that a life of Opioids is no life compared to Cannabis. Of course to each his own. Some people would prefer codeine and a dependency to cannabis and a mellow.
I WOULD like to get my weed for $25/oz. I’d like to pay $100 an ounce until my lights are paid for and the system is stable.
I have some experience and I’ve never been able to produce for cheaper than $600/lb. There is some savings in community and more savings in legality apparently. Anyways. “Everybody Must Get High..”
