600 lbs of ganja taken near Swift Current.On the evening of Feb 6th, RCMP pulled over a pickup truck east bound on highway 1, which contained over 600 lbs of ganja. The 48 year old driver, Claude Fournier,was stopped four-kilometers west of Swift Current, SK. The amount of ganja seized was valued at approximately $1.8 million and was allegedly being transported from B.C. to Toronto. Rc’s also seized over $5,ooo cash. Fournier was released from custody on Monday, his court date set for March 24th.

TIP!!! NEVER stop for gas or Tim Hortons in Swift Current, Moose Jaw, sometimes Medicine Hat. If you do watch closely for what appears to be old tourists “letting the dog pee” walking their mutts through gas stations, Horton’s, 7-11 etc.
Same goes for when travelling through BC. As soon as there is a traffic stoppage for construction of snow removal out come the “travellers” and their cute little weed sniffing mutts.
Be careful out there. Not everything is what it seems.
